Flood early warning
A network of camera-equipped stations that detects sudden rises and flow changes in rivers and warns the relevant authorities early.
The flood early warning system aims to minimise the damage of natural disasters and prevent loss of life and property. Stations are placed according to flood spread maps and integrated with DSİ’s central systems.
When sudden rises, flow changes or severe weather affecting the site are detected, the relevant public authorities are warned. Camera images show decision makers the live situation on site.
